Part Processing Analysis
Part Processing Analysis enables you to see where part process quantities are deriving from in terms of orders. It is available from the Process — Inventory History — Review Part Processing Analysis menu function.
When you build the list the totals for the process quantities are re-calculated from the list data and shown below the quantities stored on the part record. They should be the same.
There are a number of possible reasons for part process quantities not being in step with the analysis calculated values. Most common are system and network crashes interrupting transaction processing. You can correct the situation using the Advanced tab pane of the Stock Control Activities window. Or by running the Re-set Part Process Quantities option of the File — Advanced — Re-Set Data Files…” function (see the Datafile Integrity Maintenance window for details).
