Shortages Report Selection

Shortages Report Selection

This report setup window provides you with the ability to choose a range of selections, sort order and report types. Some options only apply to some types of report.

The normal shortage report lists all items in the shortages file and can optionally be sorted by order or part number.

An alternative report is a similar listing but in addition shows any Purchase Order line item details for each shortage. If you check the Show supplier details checkbox an additional line is included of the Purchase Order supplier or the part’s Primary Supplier to help with chasing deliveries.

The Order Shortages Picking Lists is an option designed so that the stockroom can print Picking Lists of shortage items for selected orders. On confirmation the system creates a list of orders that contain shortage items from which you can select one or more to obtain picking lists in the Orders with Shortages Listing window.

Note NOTE: This window contains fields introduced with version 5 that enable additional search (and sometimes sort controls), such as Adhoc extra where. For more help on their use and examples see the Client-Server SQL Introduction help.
